Hey Saffa, all windmeters are reasonably correct (another windstation 100 meters from here measures the same speeds). Wind at Pervolia is of a different nature, we need more knots here to surf, and we need less in Limassol and in many places abroad. This is an interesting discussion, there is a lot of information about wind dynamics on the internet. And: long live venturi's! Oh yeah.

Just spent last last 4 weeks chasing wind in CY. As a windsurfer & visited Pervolia at least 6 times in last month, I am now convinced of 2 things:
- Your wind meter is in a venturi
- Kite Surfers wind meters are over stated by at least 5 knots!
But it is great that you are still going and having lot's of wind in LCA, whilst LIM is quiet. (Except today - 17 knots real wind).

Ah! Vaso! But it does work! You need to delete the weather-picture / webcampicture in your phone after you have watched it, to clear the phone-cache. It will then be forced to download and show the new data
